What it is
Decorative plaster is a lime-based finish applied by hand in thin layers with a steel trowel. Depending on the technique, it can be burnished to a smooth, polished sheen or left soft and matte with natural variation.
Unlike paint, which sits flat on the wall, plaster has real depth. Light moves across it, and no two walls look exactly alike. Lime is also breathable and naturally alkaline, which helps it resist mold.
Finishes we offer
Layers burnished to a smooth, marble-like sheen. Elegant on feature walls, entries and dining rooms.
A soft, chalky finish with gentle cloudy movement. Warm and calm in bedrooms and living spaces.
A more rustic, hand-worked surface with visible trowel marks, for an earthy or old-world look.
Why plaster
Layers catch the light in a way flat paint can't.
Applied by hand, so every wall is unique to your home.
Lime lets walls breathe and naturally helps resist mold.
Small marks can often be touched up instead of repainting.
How we apply it
Choose the finish and tint from real samples.
Cover floors and furniture, repair and smooth the walls.
A bonding primer so the plaster grips evenly.
Thin coats troweled on to build depth and movement.
Polished to a sheen or finished matte, then protected.
