What it is
Microcement is a polymer-modified cement coating applied in thin layers, usually just a few millimeters thick in total. Because it bonds to most stable surfaces, it can often go over existing tile, concrete or drywall without tearing anything out.
Every layer is troweled by hand, so each surface has its own soft movement and texture. Once the finish coats are down, we seal it to protect against water, stains and everyday wear.
Where we use it
Walls, floors and walk-in showers with no grout to scrub.
Floors, backsplashes and islands in one continuous finish.
Open floors that flow from room to room without breaks.
Treads and risers wrapped in a clean, modern surface.
Built-in sinks and countertops that match the walls and floor.
A soft concrete look that makes a focal point.
Why microcement
A seamless surface looks calmer and is easier to keep clean.
Often applied over existing tile, which saves time, mess and cost.
With proper waterproofing and sealer, it works in showers and baths.
Color, texture and sheen are chosen for your space, not off a shelf.

FAQ
Often, yes. If the tile is solid and well bonded, we prep it, fill the grout lines and apply over it. We confirm on site.
We can add an anti-slip finish for shower floors and other wet areas.
Fine hairline cracks can appear if the surface underneath moves. Careful prep and reinforcing mesh greatly reduce that risk.
